o many people have asked how to write a CV and how to job hunt — please check my other posts.

Looking back on the past three months, it really feels like blood, sweat, and tears…
I applied for 160+ positions of all sizes in total, and had around 30 phone and in-person interviews across first and second rounds.
Stage 1: I sent the same CV everywhere and found it worked poorly.
Stage 2: I created 7–8 different CV versions tailored to different industries. I started getting a few responses — noticeably more phone interviews.
Stage 3: I modularized my work experience and then recombined it based on each job description, generating a new CV for every application. This was the most effective — I got significantly more interview opportunities.
But it was still a painful and long process. Some jobs didn’t accept CVs and required application forms — I spent a whole week just filling out forms.
Some jobs required online tests, and sometimes I couldn’t even finish reading the questions before time ran out.
Some interviews seemed to go really well, but they still rejected you and never explained why.
Once, I stayed up all night preparing for a temporary interview and even made a full set of brochures to showcase my abilities. Another time, I had interviews every hour in one afternoon without even time to drink water. There was also a time I was notified in the morning about an interview in London that same afternoon — I immediately drove four hours to London, interviewed for one hour, then drove four hours back, getting home after 3 a.m…
Over the past three months, job hunting was basically my second full-time job — constant breakdowns, wiping away tears, and starting again…
Combined with other pressures, there was a period when I honestly felt like I couldn’t keep going.
Thankfully, I persisted. I’m grateful to everyone who supported me. Of course, this is only a new starting point and the beginning of new challenges — there’s still a lot ahead for me to work on.
I hope everyone who is job hunting gets the outcome they wish for.
