The timeline was quite long, so everyone needs to be patient and don’t get discouraged 🥰

Preparing your CV
My CV template is on p2.
You can search for a template that suits you and create your own CV.
Prepare different CVs for different roles so you don’t need to edit them every time you apply.
For example, marketing and operations are different types of roles, so your CV focus should be different for each.

How to find internships?
The website on p3 can help you find local internships and part-time jobs — there are actually quite a lot! Choose positions based on your needs.
If you just want to earn money with a part-time job, TargetJobs has staff roles at places like Tesco and IKEA. The hourly pay is higher than working in Chinese restaurants.
P4 shows the university job website, where you can find roles like campus ambassador, research assistant, or survey staff. The pay follows the UK minimum wage, and since it’s supervised by the university, it’s more reliable and safer.
Also, attend more university events — you can get lots of job-hunting information there.
I study at the University of Southampton, so the school often shares local job opportunities in Southampton.

You can also talk to your professors about your interest in internships or jobs. Many professors are willing to keep an eye out for you or help ask around for opportunities!
